About the album Ultramega OK
The unknown Soundgarden from Seattle release their debut, Ultramega OK, in late 1988.
The sound of the album doesn't resemble anything similar for its time of release as Grunge is still an unfamiliar term. The closest genre seemed to be heavy metal, while not clearly belonging to this musical space.
According to the group's statements, producer Drew Canulette didn't manage to bring out what they really wanted.
