In 1986, Slayer released Reign In Blood, which continues to be provocative just like their previous two albums, as the violence and engagement with the satanic element continue.
The album was recorded from January to April 1976. Reign In Blood is Slayer's first album to be produced by Rick Rubin, who would bring Slayer to Def Records.
Without any radio promotion or advertising, Slayer's third album was their first record to enter the Billboard Top 200 and reached No. 94 on Billboard, while over the years it reached 500,000 sales.
