Cuándo Se Come Aquí by Siniestro Total
About the album Cuándo Se Come Aquí
The ¿CuándoSe Come Aquí? is the debut album of the Spanish punk-rock band Siniestro Total, originating from Vigo, Galicia. It was released in 1982. It is considered one of the cornerstones of Spanish punk rock, with fast rhythms, surreal lyrics, and intense humor. It was the best-selling independent album in Spain up to that time, released by the record company DRO.
The cover was designed by Óscar Mariné and was inspired by the Lucky Luke comics, depicting the band members as the Dalton brothers. The songs lasted just two minutes (or even less). They were like bullets from Lucky Luke's revolver. You go in, break everything in 20 minutes of total album duration, and leave before the police have a chance to realize what happened.
It was the album that told every kid in Madrid and Vigo: "You don't need to be Hendrix to release an album. You just need to have something to say and the guts to shout it out."
