Saxon return with Innocence Is No Excuse in 1985 after the controversial Crusader in 1984 and attempt to return to the heavy style that had earned them thousands of loyal listeners, and they probably succeed.
In Britain, it reached No. 36—not bad at all for a heavy metal band.
In 1985, Everybody Up was heard in the Italian horror movie Demoni by the legendary director-producer-screenwriter Dario Argento, even though it had not been released as a single.
