About the album Manifesto
The sixth studio album by Roxy Music will come almost four years after their previous one. Its title will be Manifesto, and musically it will move between pop & rock and art rock. The compositions mainly belong to Bryan Ferry and Phil Manzanera. The production of Manifesto was done by the members of the band themselves.
The cover features some models of that era having fun. The idea was by Bryan Ferry, which was realized with the help of Antony Price. The first single from the album was Trash, followed by Dance Away and Angel Eyes.
The album entered the Top-10 in Great Britain, reaching No.7 and selling around 100,000 copies. In the USA, it reached No.23 on the Billboard.
