Amused To Death

About the album Amused To Death

In September 1992, Roger Waters releases his third solo album. The entire Amused To Death is a caustic commentary by Roger Waters on the global events at the end of the 20th century.

A crucial role in the album's sound was played by Jeff Beck and his guitar. The title of the album was influenced by the book “Amusing Ourselves to Death” (1985) by Neil Postman.

The album reached No. 8 in Britain and No. 21 in the U.S. It is considered Roger Waters' best work on a personal level.
