About the album Scream, Dracula, Scream!
The Californian punk rock band Rocket From The Crypt jumped in 1995 from the record label Perfect Sound to Interscope Records and immediately recorded and released their fourth album, Scream, Dracula, Scream!, which, although a modern American punk rock album, on the other hand, is permeated by the garage aesthetic of the mid-1960s. A closer listen to the album will hear sounds of violins, violas, saxophones, and trumpets (!) stand out amidst the punk uproar.
Rocket From The Crypt enjoyed considerable success with this album, enough to secure them to play at that time before the concerts of Rancid and Soundgarden.
The album was produced by John Reis. The album achieved success in Germany and the United Kingdom, where it reached No. 41.
