About the album All American Boy
The Ohio-born Rick Derringer will release All American Boy, which will be his first album in 1973. The album created expectations, but there wasn't anything else comparable from its creator in the future.
Derringer mixes hard rock and blues rock, creating a very strong blend of music. On the other hand, there are also his more gentle moments. The album features Joe Walsh from the Eagles on guitar in some songs and Edgar Winter playing piano.
The production was handled by Bill Szymczyk, one of the best American producers of the '70s. In the U.S., it reached No. 25 on the Billboard.
