The third album of Englishwoman Polly Jean Harvey is a revelation in the mid-‘90s. To Bring You My Love from 1995 is an album full of pain, darkness, despair, and anger, all expressed through blues musical forms.
A significant role in its success was played by the single Down By The Water and its promotion by MTV.
