PJ Harvey, born as Polly Jean Harvey on October 9, 1969, is a British musician, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. She was born in Yeovil, Somerset, and grew up in nearby Corscombe. Throughout her career, she has developed a unique sound that combines elements of alternative rock, punk, and blues. Her debut album titled "Dry" was released in 1992 and captured the hearts of critics, while the next album "Rid of Me" established her on the international scene.
