I Inside The Old Year Dying  by PJ Harvey

In 2023, Polly Jean Harvey - with over 30 years of discography behind her - releases her tenth career album, I Inside The Old Year Dying, in July 2023. This album is a blend of post-punk and folk rock songs and comes seven whole years after her last studio album.

The production of the album was done by Flood, John Parish, and partially by Rob Kirwan. Flood participates by playing synthesizers, while Parish plays a variety of musical instruments from percussion to trombone. The first single from the album was A Child's Question, August, followed by I Inside The Old I Dying, while at the beginning of the next year, the third and last, Seem an I, was released.

I Inside The Old Year Dying received very positive reviews. The album entered the Top-10 of many European countries, such as Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Austria, and France. In the United Kingdom, it reached No. 5.
