About the album Snake Bite Love
The fourteenth album by Motorhead was Snake Bite Love, and its recording and release took place in 1998. The album was the fourth and final collaboration of the band with American producer Howard Benson.
Snake Bite Love was an album that did not seem to satisfy either the band's fans or the band itself. Both Lemmy and the other two members, Phil Campbell and Mikkey Dee, have admitted afterward that they were not satisfied with the result. The eleven compositions are a mishmash of various aspects of the metal sound and this does not give the album a specific character.
The album reached No. 47 in Germany and No. 49 in Sweden.
