About the album Kiss Of Death
Kiss Of Death is the eighteenth album by Motorhead. It is the second album they recorded with Cameron Webb as the producer. Kiss Of Death was released in late summer 2006 and is an album consisting of twelve heavy compositions for which the three members of the band are responsible.
Kiss Of Death is the last album where the cover art was designed by American designer Joe Petagno, with whom they had collaborated with Motorhead since their first album, creating the band's mascot, Snaggletooth. C.C. DeVille, guitarist of Poison, plays the guitar solo on God Was Never On Your Side, while Mike Inez of Alice In Chains also plays bass on Under The Gun. The one and only single from the album was Kingdom Of The Worm.
The album reached No. 45 in the United Kingdom. Its most impressive performance was in Germany, where the album reached No. 4 on the charts.
