About the album Power Trip
Monster Magnet from New Jersey with their fourth album Powertrip in 1998 gradually reached worldwide recognition in the stoner rock circle, which was at its peak at the time.
Four singles emerged from Powertrip: Space Lord, Powertrip, Temple Of Your Dreams, and See You In Hell. In the Japanese edition of the album, there is a cover of Kick Out The Jams by MC5, who were a great influence on Monster Magnet.
Powertrip went gold in the U.S. with sales of around 500,000 copies.
