About the album Deliverance
Deliverance is the fourth studio album by Corrosion Of Conformity from the state of North Carolina. The album was released in 1994 and is the album with which the band achieved success in the mid-'90s.
In this album, we have for the first time the band's guitarist Pepper Keenan in the position of singer. Deliverance and its sound is a characteristic example of pure stoner metal. The producer John Custer played a very significant role in the sound of the album. Two of the four singles from the album, Albatross and Clean My Wounds, both managed to reach No.19 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart.
Deliverance reached No.155 on the Billboard chart, but this did not prevent it from, over the years, selling close to 500,000 copies in the USA.
