About the album Blind
In 1991, Corrosion Of Conformity returned with their third album after a six-year absence from recording. Much had changed in the world of metal music at the time of the return of the thrash metal band from North Carolina, but Corrosion Of Conformity seemed to have understood this, as evidenced by the compositions on Blind.
The group's sound had become more technical. The singer and composer Karl Agell and the guitarist and composer Pepper Keenan, who joined the band in 1989, seemed to have fully understood and embraced these changes, and for this reason, the album moves between stoner metal and techno-thrash. Blind is the only album of the band in which Karl Agell participates on vocals, as he left the band two years later.
There were two singles from the album, Dance Of The Dead and Vote With A Bullet. Sales of Blind in the U.S. over the years have exceeded 250,000 copies.
