God Says No by Monster Magnet
About the album God Says No
The American band Monster Magnet "strikes again" in November 2000 with their fifth album, God Says No. In the U.S., God Says No was released in April 2001. The band from New Jersey offers its fans here a mix of stoner rock and hard rock.
The twelve compositions of the album are by the band's guitarist and singer, Dave Wyndorf. The singles from the album were as follows: Silver Future, Heads Explode, and Melt. The first one, Silver Future, was not in the original edition of the album but was added as a bonus track in later re-releases. The second one, Heads Explode, was also featured on the soundtrack of the movie "Dracula 2000." The album's production was handled by Wyndorf and producer Matt Hyde.
God Says No did not manage to continue what Power Trip had started in 1998. In the United States, it only reached No.153 on the Billboard chart.
