About the album Doo-Bop
A little while before Miles Davis died, he had the idea to create an album with compositions inspired by the sounds of New York, as he heard them from the open balcony doors of his apartment.
With the help of producer Easy Mo Bee, Doo-Bop was created. The latter even had to complete three of the nine compositions on his own, as Davis had passed away in the meantime and did not get to hear the completed album.
Doo-Bop has sold 300,000 copies worldwide.
