About the album Extreme Aggression

The fourth album by the German thrashers Kreator, Extreme Aggression from 1989, came to confirm that the band from Essen is the greatest band of the German thrash metal wave in the second half of the 1980s. The album Extreme Aggression granted Kreator recognition even among American audiences.

Its nine compositions, which compete in speed and roughness with every American thrash metal band of that era, are the creation of the then just twenty-two-year-old Mille Petrozza and the other members of the band. The success is naturally also attributed to the exposure from the video clip of Betrayer, which was filmed at the Acropolis of Athens (!)

Extreme Aggression reached No. 90 in Germany and No. 68 in the Netherlands.
