Closer To You is the eleventh studio album by American musician J. J. Cale, which was released in 1994. The album was produced by J. J. Cale himself.
The album is characterized by Cale's classic, laid-back sound (Tulsa sound), combining elements of blues, Americana, and rock. A distinctive feature is the use of synthesizers in several tracks, as well as electronic processing of his vocals. It includes 12 songs, with Long Way Home and Devil's Nurse standing out as two of the most dynamic on the album. The album closes with the instrumental Steve's Song.
The album did not manage to enter the American Billboard 200 chart. The album had better success in Europe. In the United Kingdom, it reached up to position 82.
