JJ Cale reached his fifth studio album in 1979 with 5. Despite everything happening in the music scene at that time (punk, disco, hard rock, new wave), it seems that none of it touches him, and he continues his musical wanderings in the world of blues.
5 includes Don’t Cry Sister and Sensitive Kind, two of the best compositions by the Oklahoma songwriter.
In production, we find his close collaborator Audie Ashworth.
