About the album Paul Butterfield Blues Band
The self-titled debut of the Paul Butterfield Blues Band, released in 1965, is one of the best examples of blues from the '60s.
The Chicago-based group would create an album with eleven blues songs, more than half of which would be covers of songs by black artists from previous decades and some of their own compositions.
The album reached only No. 123 at the time of its release. Today, it is considered a classic.
