People Gonna Talk  by James Hunter

Born in Essex, England, James Hunter, although he began his involvement in music in the mid-'80s playing and recording with various groups, had to wait until 2006 (!) to taste recognition and success with the album People Gonna Talk, which was his third personal record. All the songs were compositions by James Hunter himself.

The recording was done in the simplest and cheapest way the creator could find due to lack of funds. The method was traditional, namely gathering the musicians in the studio, playing, and being recorded directly. The musical style of the album belongs to another era. Blue-eyed soul and rhythm ’n’ blues are present and transport the unsuspecting listener many years back.

People Gonna Talk was nominated for Best Traditional Blues Album.
