About the album Brave New World

Brave New World: Three returns. Bruce Dickinson on vocals, Adrian Smith on guitar, and the classic Iron Maiden logo on the cover. The album's title is due to the namesake book by Aldous Huxley written in 1932, one of the most widely read books in English literature. Huxley, of course, “borrowed” it from a line by Shakespeare...

With Brave New World, Iron Maiden seem to be making a restart in their career. In reality, this album does not fall under the realm of classic heavy metal, but it is a progressive metal album and indeed extremely interesting in its sound and compositions. The production is by Kevin Shirley, with whom the band collaborates for the first time.

The Brave New World tour ended up being “captured” in the live album and video “Rock In Rio”.
