About the album High Hopes
The album High Hopes of 2014 is the eighteenth by Bruce Springsteen. In fact, it is a compilation of some recordings from the American songwriter's past, who, amidst the obligations of the Wrecking Ball Tour, steals some hours before heading to Australia for the continuation of the tour. With producer Ron Aniello, who has already prepared the material, he puts on the final touches.
Among the standout songs is the "electric" version of The Ghost Of Tom Joad, a re-recording of High Hopes that originated from the 1996 EP Blood Brothers, the studio version of American Skin (41 Shots), which first appeared live on Live In New York City in 2001. Also, in High Hopes, there are two covers, Just Like Fire Would and Dream Baby Dream. From all of this, it becomes apparent that the listener doesn't find cohesion in what they hear despite the fact that there are remarkable songs, but they have to be listened to individually and not as part of a whole.
The sales of High Hopes are at 420,000 copies worldwide.
