About the album Come Find Yourself

Come Find Yourself is the debut album by Fun Lovin' Criminals, released on February 20, 1996, by Chrysalis Records. It is characterized by an eclectic mix of genres, combining hip hop, rock, funk, blues, and jazz. The lyrics focus on urban life in New York, organized crime, and pop culture, with strong references to Quentin Tarantino.

The recording of the album lasted only five days in April and May of 1995. The mixing was completed on July 19, 1995. All of this took place at The Magic Shop studio in New York. The production was handled by the band itself with sound engineer Tim Latham. The songs were written and arranged by the band members: Huey Morgan, Brian "Fast" Leiser, and Steve Borgovini.

Come Find Yourself includes the hits Scooby Snacks (which uses samples from the movies Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs), The Fun Lovin' Criminal, and King Of New York. The album was a huge success in the United Kingdom, reaching No. 7 on the charts and remaining on the charts for almost 4 years.
