About the album 100% Colombian
In 1998, the Fun Lovin’ Criminals, the year they released their second album, 100% Colombian, had already been going for five years. The record is a mixture of hip-hop, rock, blues, rap rock, and whatever else one can imagine. The album was recorded between January and March 1998.
In the song Mini Bar Blues, B.B. King plays guitar. The biggest hit of the album was its first single, Love Unlimited, which is a tribute song to Barry White and his musical style.
100% Colombian is the most commercially successful effort of the group from New York. In Britain, it reached No.3.
