About the album Drunken Lullabies
The seven-member group of American-Irish Flogging Molly presents their second full studio album in 2002, two years after their debut, proving that they are still in shape and that they are a band that can rightfully take the lead in the unique field of celtic rock/punk music after the end of the Pogues' discography.
Flogging Molly composed eleven new songs during 2001, covered the traditional Irish song The Rare Ould Times, and the album Drunken Lullabies was ready, produced by themselves and Ted Hutt.
The album received positive impressions from music critics and reached No. 104 on the Billboard, several positions higher than their first album, while the 48th position it achieved on the Dutch charts (!) is impressive.
