Lo Más Lejos, A Tu Lado by Fito & Fitipaldis
About the album Lo Más Lejos, A Tu Lado
The band Fito & Fitipaldis released their third studio album titled Lo Más Lejos, A Tu Lado in September 2003. Fito Cabrales and his group manage to deliver an excellent showcase of songs ranging from classic rock, country rock, pop to rock 'n' roll, as seen in Quiero Ser Una Estrella.
Fito Cabrales and the band's guitarist, J. Alberto Batiz, worked on the album's sound for a long time as they wanted to focus on the simplicity of the composition, so that the songs would showcase their value on their own, and it seems they succeeded. The album was recorded at producer Iñaki Antón González's studio in June and July of 2003.
In Lo Más Lejos, A Tu Lado, one can listen to some of the band's now-classic songs, such as La Casa Por El Tejado or Soldadito Marinero - both singles from the album, as well as Buen Castigo or Corazón Oxidado. The album reached No. 1 in Spain in 2003 and remained a dominant presence in the Spanish charts in the following years. By 2010, it had gone five times platinum in Spain, and now it has reached seven (!)
