The Good Will Out by Embrace
About the album The Good Will Out
Although the British band Embrace had a presence in the musical events of the British pop & rock music scene throughout the 1990s, it wasn’t until 1998 that their creative prowess was first captured in a studio album. Thus, The Good Will Out of 1998 would immediately bring them success - at least - in the British Isles.
The musical style characterizing the album is clearly britpop, which was, of course, on its way out at the time, but music enthusiasts particularly appreciated Embrace’s effort. In hindsight, one might think that The Good Will Out seems to lead British pop & rock to something else that would take shape in the next two to three years. The compositions of the album belong to the brothers Danny and Richard McNamara. The production was shared between Embrace and Martin Glover, as well as Dave Creffield.
The album reached No.1 in Britain and very soon, due to its sales of over 300,000, it became platinum.
