About the album Chicago V
Chicago V is the fourth studio album by the band from the state of Illinois and was released in 1972. The album reached the top of the Billboard, while it also achieved success in other countries beyond the USA. With this record, Chicago abandoned the very long compositions and wrote shorter compositions.
Chicago V had been recorded in September 1971, but in order not to coincide with the live Chicago at Carnegie Hall of 1971, its release was delayed until July 1972.
Indicatively, the album has sold 2,000,000 copies in the USA and another 100,000 in Canada.
