About the album Child Is Father To The Man
To Child Is Father To The Man must be one of the best debuts of all time. Blood, Sweat & Tears recorded the album in two weeks, which was released in early 1968.
Undoubtedly behind the album is Al Kooper, who conceived the whole idea and its musical direction. Of course, after the recording, the others kicked him out of the band (!) The producer of the album was John Simon, one of the best American producers of the '60s.
At the time of its release, the album did not achieve any massive success, considering its No.47 spot on Billboard as a criterion.
