About the album Forest Of Equilibrium
Cathedral started their journey from Coventry, England in the late '80s. In 1991, their debut was ready with the general title Forest Of Equilibrium. The album is now a classic example of doom metal.
According to the singer Lee Dorrian, it was extremely strange and uncomfortable that Cathedral had managed to sign a contract with the then highly commercially oriented Columbia Records, which was considering advertising them as the next Black Crows (!)
Dave Patchett is the painter who worked on the particularly complex cover of Forest Of Equilibrium.
