About the album The Rising
A year after September 11, 2001, Bruce Springsteen "will strike" with The Rising, wanting to give courage and hope to his compatriots.
The Rising will be the first album since Born In The U.S.A. of 1985 that the E-Street Band gathers and records an entire LP with Springsteen. The Rising will be the beginning of Springsteen's collaboration with producer Brendan O'Brien.
The album has also been a commercial success as it has now surpassed 3,000,000 copies worldwide.
