About the album Rough And Rowdy Ways

Rough And Rowdy Ways by Bob Dylan is released in 2020 and is the thirty-ninth studio album by the American artist. At the age of 79, Dylan is able to write albums that are listened to with interest. The album contains exclusively his own compositions, something that hadn't happened since 2012 with his album Tempest.

Bob Dylan recorded twelve songs between January and March 2020, whose musical direction moves in folk and blues paths, which Dylan knows exceptionally well. Some of the songs were prepared during Dylan's last tour with his band in 2019, and some were written in the studio. The song Murder Most Foul, which closes the album, is the longest song Dylan has recorded for any of his studio albums. Its duration reaches almost 17 minutes (!) and it relates to the assassination of President Kennedy in 1963.

Rough And Rowdy Ways reached No.2 in the United States and No.1 in the United Kingdom.
