Restless And Wild by Accept
About the album Restless And Wild
Accept began recording their fourth studio album in February 1982. In October, Restless And Wild hit record store shelves. Restless And Wild was recorded at music producer Dieter Dierks’ studios, but the production is credited to the band members.
The band's sound has changed. The compositions they present are much better connected, and most importantly, Udo Dirkschneider performs the songs much better than ever before. Furthermore, the album opens with Fast As A Shark, a song considered a forerunner of thrash metal, and closes with one of Accept’s best songs, Princess Of The Down.
Restless And Wild achieved moderate success in countries like Germany, Sweden, and the Netherlands, while in the United Kingdom it reached No. 98.
