About the album Accept
On January 16, 1979, the first album of the German band Accept was released by Brain Records. The album is titled with the band's name. This German heavy metal band was trying to make its first timid steps into the world of discography, but the 3,000 copies initially sold by the record didn't leave much room for success.
This, of course, gave them a push to tour the neighboring countries of France, Belgium, and the Netherlands to present their songs live, songs that had no coherence among them since it was material they had composed from 1968, when they were founded, until the time they entered the studio to record for the first time, in September 1978.
From the ten songs on the debut album, the band's first single, Lady Lou, "survived," which was also included in some of the band's collections in the following years.
