Top-20 songs : Queen, the seventies
Queen formed in the early '70s and, with influences from the Beatles, Aretha Franklin, Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, as well as Slade and Led Zeppelin, they released their first album titled Queen in 1973. This was followed by Queen II in 1974, while Sheer Heart Attack would be the first album to attract major attention to them. A Night at the Opera in 1975 and A Day at the Races in 1976 would establish them as one of the greatest names in British rock for the 1970s.
