John Coltrane was one of the most influential and innovative jazz saxophonists of his time. He was born on September 23, 1926, in Hamlet, North Carolina, and grew up in Pennsylvania. He began his career in the late 1940s, playing with various orchestras and exploring different styles of music. During the 1950s, Coltrane collaborated with top jazz names such as Miles Davis and Thelonious Monk, and started developing his own unique style. From 1960 onward, he led his own groups and established himself as a jazz pioneer, introducing new techniques and ideas that deeply influenced the genre. His significant works include the albums "Giant Steps" and "A Love Supreme." Coltrane passed away on July 17, 1967.
