INXS was a rock band from Australia, formed in Sydney in 1977. Initially known as The Farriss Brothers, the band became known for its charismatic leader and singer, Michael Hutchence. INXS gained worldwide fame in the 1980s and 1990s with albums such as "Kick" and "X," which included hits like "Need You Tonight," "New Sensation," and "Never Tear Us Apart." The band incorporated various musical genres, including rock, pop, and new wave, and had an exceptional stage presence, while their style and music influenced many artists. INXS continued to tour and release music until the end of their career, despite Hutchence's tragic death in 1997.
