About the album Mosquito

The band Yeah Yeah Yeahs from New York, in 2013 and after a four-year absence from official studio discography, return with the ambitious Mosquito. The album is their fourth work and is a very good example of art punk and dance-punk.

The main protagonist of the album is the American-Korean singer of the group, Karen O, with her distinctive voice. All the songs are compositions by the group and were recorded in four different studios - in Texas, California, New York, and London - resulting in them working with four different producers.

The album climbed to No. 5 in the U.S. and No. 9 in Britain, and it managed to achieve very good positions on the charts in many other countries around the world.
