Yeah Yeah Yeahs are preparing their third album in 2008, which is released in March 2009 and is titled It's Blitz!. Three years after their second LP, the band from New York returns with changes to their sound, as they have incorporated many electronic elements to the point that it is a synth-pop album, in which, however, the punk/garage tone has not disappeared.

The fundamental change in the band's sound was the idea of the guitarist and composer of the band, Nick Zinner. Of course, Karen O once again captures attention with her voice and performance. Producers Nick Launay and David Andrew Sitek guide the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and do so with particular success.

It's Blitz! is the most commercially successful album of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Its sales - in both digital and physical forms - have made it gold in the USA and the United Kingdom.
