Pride  by White Lion

Producer Michael Wagener collaborates with the band White Lion and together they create a very good glam metal album, Pride, which will be released in 1987 and will draw a lot of attention to the band. Here the listener will find some songs that bear the classic stamp of glam metal, namely melodramatic love and passion lyrics, "wild" and "aggressive" guitars, and easily memorable choruses.

The first single from the album was Wait, which initially did not cause a sensation. And here comes the power of image and MTV. When the channel began to air its video clip incessantly, the single reached No.8 on the Billboard seven months after its official release. The song for which, however, the album is worth remembering is the acoustic ballad When The Children Cry.

Pride went on to sell 2,000,000 copies in the USA alone and also reached No.11 on the Billboard.
