White Lion was an American glam metal band formed in 1983 by Danish singer Mike Tramp and guitarist Vito Bratta. The band became famous in the late '80s with hits like "Wait" and "When the Children Cry." The band released four studio albums before disbanding in 1992. White Lion were known for their melodic guitars and sensitive, socially charged songs. After the breakup, Mike Tramp continued with other musical projects, while Vito Bratta retired from the music industry. The band reunited in various forms in the following years.
