About the album Achtung Baby
It is difficult to describe in words the changes that the seventh studio album of U2 caused. Four years after The Joshua Tree, they returned with Achtung Baby in 1991, having both Brian Eno and Daniel Lanois on production.
The sound of all the songs does not resemble any of their previous works as it is the sound of the future. Here, U2 incorporate elements of industrial, alternative, and dance music and present them through their own lens. Even the cover, which is not monochrome but multicolored, hints at the change. Nothing would be the same from Achtung Baby and beyond for the quartet of the Irish. They would transform into super rock stars.
Its sales worldwide have reached 18,000,000.
