About the album Vol. 3

In 1990, the supergroup Traveling Wilburys, without Roy Orbison since he had suddenly passed away, released the second and final album of their short-lived discographic journey. The Traveling Wilburys Vol. 3 musically moves in the same direction as their first album, that is, rock, country, folk, rockabilly. The compositions of the songs are the undertaking of all.

The fun that prevailed during the first album continues, and the company seems to be enjoying themselves. These are beautiful, simple rock songs that can lift your spirits. The album was produced by Jeff Lynne and George Harrison. On the lead guitar of the song "She's My Baby," Gary Moore also participates. The second album was named Vol. 3 despite the fact that Vol. 2 never existed. This was an idea by George Harrison to joke with the band's fans, who would look for Vol. 2 and couldn't find it (!)

Vol. 3 reached No. 14 in the UK and No. 11 in the USA, where it sold 1,000,000 copies.
