About the album Under The Pink
Two years after her outstanding debut, the girl from North Carolina returns with her second album titled Under The Pink. Here she continues the same formula as her first album, that is, songs written on the piano, interpretative grandeur, and unique lyrics that aim to intrigue the listener.
The great success of the album was Cornflake Girl, but we must not forget the other songs, each of which had something interesting to offer. The Under The Pink tour lasted from February to November 1994, a tour that took Tori Amos to every corner of the earth.
Under The Pink went straight to No.1 in Britain, while in her homeland it reached No.12 on the Billboard chart. It is estimated that within the next five years, its sales in the U.S. exceeded 2,000,000 copies.
