The Stooges  by The Stooges

The Stooges were formed in Michigan, USA, in 1967 and two years later released their debut which simply bears their name. The Stooges has been one of the most influential albums of all time.

Its sound, rough, wild and raw, will teach many over the next few years and shape what will be called hard music at any level (punk, hard rock, heavy metal, grunge, nu metal, etc.)

In production, we have John Cale, while the recording took place at New York's legendary studio, the Hit Factory, in April 1969.
