About the album The Open Mind
The Open Mind was a London-based band of the late 1960s psychedelic scene. The band's one and only album was released in July 1969. Today, the first vinyl release is a rare piece. The Open Mind was released by Philips Records.
The album is surrounded by a legend that it reached No.1 on the Japanese charts. Also, due to some riffs heard in some of its songs, such as in I Feel The Same Way Too or Thor The Thunder God, it is considered a forerunner album of heavy metal. In reality, it was a purebred psychedelic rock record.
Horses And Chariots was the first single from the album.
