Some albums are beyond criticism as they are the ones that show where things are headed. Days Of Future Passed from 1967 by the British Moody Blues and the progressive rock was born (!) The Moody Blues combine symphonic music with rock lines and create new paths. Symphonic rock also starts from this album.
On the other hand, Days Of Future Passed is one of the first concept albums, as all the compositions revolve around the same theme, which is nothing other than the very simple yet fundamental to human existence, the passage of a 24-hour day. The first composition is titled The Day Begins and the last one The Night. The most famous and unsurpassed track and the album's first single is Nights In White Satin, which covers most of the composition The Night. This particular single entered the Top-10 of the Billboard five years after its release (!)
Days Of Future Passed reached No.3 in the United States. Its sales there have now surpassed 1,000,000 copies.
